During the course of his career, Grant has moved seamlessly from Designer to Developer to User Experience Architect. Early on, he worked with the UN and NHS Local Trusts before joining Oyster Partners in their joinery to becoming LBi, where his clients included Orange, Epson, BT and Microsoft. At Conchango, he led the UX team delivering large complex multi-platform products for Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Lloyds TSB and Barclays, to name but a few. Then, at Morgan Stanley, Grant was the driving force behind the Listed Derivatives team, before moving on to pioneer UX design at HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets.
Grant lives to create positive change with forward-thinking businesses. He can foster a rare level of passion for pretty much anything that’s worth caring about and inspires both clients and colleagues in equal measure. You’ll find no other UX practitioner with the same energy for people, effortless skill for communicating ideas or with a greater ability to lead a team, even in the darkest hour.
Grant, the fanatical racing cyclist, is more of a thesis than a sentence. Suffice to say he comes complete with his own London CC cycle club and way too many bikes. If you’re really lucky he might even show you some of the lovely lycra he had Fathom design.
